The 1994–95 Segunda División season saw 20 teams participate in the second flight Spanish league. CP Mérida, Rayo Vallecano and UD Salamanca were promoted to Primera División. Palamós CF and CD Orense were relegated to Segunda División B.

- ^ a b On July 31, 1995, Sevilla FC and Celta de Vigo were relegated to Segunda División B for not making their payments to the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Then, Albacete Bp. and Real Valladolid were readmitted to Primera División and Getafe CF and CD Leganés were readmitted to Segunda División. Later, Sevilla FC and Celta de Vigo were also readmitted to Primera División, expanding the league to 22 teams.
