The 2024–25 season marks the 118th season in the history of SSV Jahn Regensburg, which will see their return to 2. Bundesliga following successful promotion. In addition to the domestic league, the team is scheduled to participate in the DFB-Pokal.

With only four points after ten matches and an 3–8 loss against 1. FC Nürnberg, Joe Enochs was fired and assistant manager Andreas Patz took over.[1]
