The 2024 North East Lincolnshire Council election was held on Thursday 2 May 2024, alongside the other local elections in the United Kingdom on the same day. 12 of the 42 members of North East Lincolnshire Council in Lincolnshire were elected.

The Conservative Party lost control of the council to no overall control.^[3] They remained the largest party, and continued to run the council as a minority administration.^[4]

North East Lincolnshire was created as a unitary authority in 1996. The Labour Party held a majority on the council until 2003, when the council fell to no overall control.^[5] Labour retook the council in 2012,^[6] but lost the council in 2016.^[7] The Conservatives won their first majority on the council in 2019, and have controlled the council since then. In the previous election, the Conservatives won 7 seats (down 3) with 41.5% of the vote, Labour won 5 (up 1) with 38.1%, independents won 2 (up 2) with 9.6%, and the Liberal Democrats defended their seat up for election with 7.0%.

The seats up for election in 2024 were last contested in 2021; because of the delay of all local elections due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the seats are up for election after 3 years rather than the usual 4. In that election, the Conservatives gained 8 seats with 60.3% of the vote, Labour lost 7 with 25.6%, and the Liberal Democrats lost 1 with 5.5%.
