Ben McNamara (born 8 December 2001) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a stand-off, scrum-half and hooker for Leigh Leopards in the Super League.
Background
[edit]McNamara is the son of coach Steve McNamara. He played rugby union and amateur rugby league for the Skirlaugh Bulls.
Playing career
[edit]Hull F.C.
[edit]McNamara made his Super League debut in round 14 of the 2020 Super League season for Hull against the Castleford Tigers and went on to score a try in the 61st minute.[3] McNamara played nine matches for Hull F.C. in the Super League XXVIII season as the club finished 10th on the table.[4]
Leigh Leopards
[edit]On 16 Oct 2023 it was reported that he had signed for Leigh Leopards on a 2-year deal.[5]
