Blue MAGA

Blue MAGA is a term used to compare some supporters of US president Joe Biden to former president Donald J. Trump supporters (known for the slogan make America great again, MAGA). The term is used to criticize a cult-like dedication to Biden as a person and use of conspiracy theories to explain opposition to Biden's 2024 presidential candidacy, and dismissal of news organizations or polling that does not reflect well on Biden.^[1]^[2]^[3] Other social media users denounce the term as false equivalence.^[4]
