Carles Enseñat Reig (born 20 February 1985) is an Andorran politician from the Democrats for Andorra who has been General Syndic of the General Council since 26 April 2023.[1]
Biography
[edit]Carles Ensenyat Reig was born in Encamp and is the son of the businesswoman and politician Maria Reig Moles. He is also the grandson of Serafí Reig Ribó, coming from a prominent family with deep political tradition in the Principality of Andorra. His mother was part of the Constituent Commission who developed the Andorran Constitution in 1993.
He studied Law and a Master at the Commerce High Studies School in Paris (HEC-Paris), and is, out of the political arena, a businessman.
In April 2023 he became the youngest General Syndic in Andorran history.
