Rodríguez began the 2024 season with the Triple–A Nashville Sounds, compiling a 4–5 win–loss record and 5.17 earned run average (ERA) with 66 strikeouts across 12 games played (11 games started). On June 11, 2024, Rodríguez was selected to the 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time.[6]
