Castle is the name given to the ward[2] and suburb of Newark-on-Trent in the Newark & Sherwood district in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. It is one of the seven wards on Newark Town Council.[3]
Geography
[edit]The ward covers the western part of the town which covers the surrounding area of Newark Castle and the Cattle Market Roundabout of the A46 road. The area is also served by Newark Castle railway station on the Nottingham-Lincoln Line.[4] It is situated close to Newark Town Centre.
