The Central District of Aqqala County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان آق‌قلا) is in Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Aqqala.[3]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 84,291 in 17,538 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 94,944 people in 24,389 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 101,988 inhabitants in 27,601 households.[2]
