The Central District of Chaldoran County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان چالدران) is in West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Siah Cheshmeh.[3]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 35,503 in 7,121 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 37,819 people in 9,090 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 37,487 inhabitants in 9,817 households.[2]
