Conotrachelus aratus, the hickory shoot curculio[2] or ploughed pure weevil,[1] is a species of snout or bark beetle in the family Curculionidae.[1][2][3][4] It occurs in the United States east of Texas and Kansas[2] and in Quebec, Canada.[1] It is associated with Carya species.[2]
