Cosmas Kyewuta (born 28 December 2001) is a Ugandan cricketer. He made his international debut for the Uganda national cricket team in 2021, playing as a right-arm pace bowler.[1]

As a teenager, Kyewuta received a gunshot wound in the leg but recovered to play for the Uganda national under-19 cricket team.[2]

Kyewuta was awarded a central contract by the Uganda Cricket Association in February 2021.[3] He made his Twenty20 International debut for Uganda against Namibia in a series in April 2021.[1]

In 2023, Kyewuta was chosen to attend Cricket South Africa's High Performance Academy.[4] He injured his back in the same year and missed over six months, but returned to Uganda's squad for the African Games cricket tournament in early 2024.[5]

In May 2024, Kyewuta was named in Uganda's squad for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament.[6][7]
