[edit]

Career

[edit]

Early in the 1990s, Emran was an administrative officer in the Political Department,[3] and as of 2008, Emran was working as a Deputy Permanent Secretary 1 at the Ministry of Defence.[4] He has been assigned as the ambassador to the United Nations (UN).[5][6] On 9 April 2012, Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah granted permission for two recently appointed Brunei envoys, including Emran (Brunei Ambassador to Laos), to attend. Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah gave each envoy their individual letters of credentials on 29 March.[7] In addition to this, he was the director of Policy Planning Department in 2013.[8]
