Famenin County (Persian: شهرستان فامنین) is in Hamadan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Famenin.[3]

History

In July 2009, Famenin District was separated from Hamadan County in the establishment of Famenin County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Famenin as its capital and only city.[3]

At the time of the 2011 National Census, the county's population was 42,485 people in 12,187 households.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 39,359 in 12,182 households.[2]
