Description
English: Beit Agron (Agron's House) houses the Israeli government press offices. The facility is named for Gershon Agron (born Agronsky, 1894-1959), an Israeli press pioneer, founder of the English-language daily the Palestine Post (later the Jerusalem Post) in 1932 and Mayor of Jerusalem 1955-1959.
עברית: בית אגרון הוא בנין משרדים, אודיטוריום ואולם אירועים על שם גרשון אגרון השוכן ברחוב הלל בירושלים, מול גן העצמאות ובריכת ממילא. בית אגרון הוא ביתה של אגודת העיתונאים בירושלים. בעבר שכנו בו משרדי לשכת העיתונות הממשלתית, סניף ירושלים והסביבה של לשכת המהנדסים ("בית המהנדס") ואולפני גלי צה"ל בירושלים ("אולפני אגרון").
