Summary

Description
Polski: Struktura fragmentu cząsteczki acetylowanego adypinianu diskrobiowego; kolorem czerwonym oznaczono grupę acetylową, kolorem błękitnym – grupę adypilową pochodzącą od kwasu adypinowego.

Grafika wskazuje wszystkie cechy strukturalne acetylowanego adypinianu diskrobiowego (grupę acetylową, grupę adypilową, monomery α-D-glukopiranozy połączone wiązaniami 1,4-glikozydowymi i 1,6-glikozydowymi), jednak w rzeczywistych cząsteczkach stosunek grupy acetylowej, jak i grupy adypilowej do monomerów glukozy wynosi ok. 1 do kilkuset.

Grupa acetylowa i grupa adypilowa znajdują się w przypadkowych pozycjach na tym rysunku.
English: Fragment of the structure of acetylated distarch adipate; acetyl group is marked in red, adipyl group derived from adipic acid is marked in blue.

This drawing indicates all structural features of acetylated distarch adipate (acetyl group, adipyl group, α-D-glucopyranose monomers connected by 1,4-glycosidic and 1,6-glycosidic bonds). However, in actual molecules the ratio of acetyl or adipyl group to glucose monomers is about 1 to a few hundred.

The acetyl group and the adipyl group in this drawing are in random (one of many possible) positions.
