Summary

Description The Baxter Cabin (sometimes called the Jenkins Cabin after Chandler Jenkins, its last owner), located just off the Maddron Bald Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park of Cocke County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. The cabin was built in 1889 by Willis Baxter as a wedding gift for his son.
