The B.S.A. Sporting Rifle illus-trated has the same action as thefamous British Service Rifle whichproved so superior in the firinglines of France. In extremely coldweather the bolt always functions, a fea-ture thoroughly appreciated by many vet-eran hunters where the mercury is wellbelow zero. The Lee-Enfield action isfamous for its ability to work smoothlyunder the worst conditions of mud, dirt or sand. The small of the stock has been curved into a handsome, comfortable pistol grip, neatly checkered. Altogether this is a most appealing rifle for the hardwaremanwith shooting customers who understand and need high-powered rifles. SPECIFICATIONS: LENGTH, over all 45 in.—WEIGHT, 7 lb.—BARREL, 25 in.
