The HMAS Hobart was an Australian guided missile destroyer. In June 2000 the decommissioned vessel was gifted to South Australia to become an artificial reef and world class dive site. On Tuesday 5 November 2002 the Hobart was scuttled in Yankalilla Bay, South Australia. Sitting in 30m of water, the wreck has become home to numerous schools of fish including Leather Jackets, Angel Fish, even Snapper and is now thoroughly covered with a large variety of fauna as can be seen by these photos.
