English: The ‘Indies Monument’ (Dutch:Indisch Monument) is a memorial in The Hague in memory of all citizens and soldiers killed during the Second World War as victims of the Japanese occupation (1941–1945) and Bersiap period in the former Dutch East Indies. It is dedicated to all who died in battle, in prison camps, duing forced labor and were murdered during the Bersiap atrocities.
