Description
English: A Boeing KC-97L Stratofreighter (s/n 53-230, c/n 17013) at the USAF Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware (USA). This aircraft had collided with a Boeing B-52 Stratofortress during refueling near Dow AFB, Maine (USA), on 14 December 1959. Despite the damage, the aircraft made a successful emergency landing at Dow AFB. It was last in service with the 151st Air Refueling Squadron, 134th Air Refueling Wing, Tennessee Air National Guard.
