Summary

Description
English: The Kleinmann–Low Nebula (KL nebula) and the Becklin–Neugebauer Object (BN object) with JWST. The Trapezium Cluster (lower left) is also part of this image. The KL nebula was probably formed when two star systems collided with each other and two stars did collide with each other and exploded, while the others were scattered in all directions. One of these stars is the BN object, which moves with a high speed away from the center of the explosion.

I tried to manually fill in the saturated parts of the image with white color, but for some fainter stars I left them, resulting in stars with black centers.

Instrument: NIRCam

Filters: F162M (contains iron [Fe II] line), F212N (molecular hydrogen) and F470N (also molecular hydrogen)
