Summary

Description
English: The farmer who found the 272-g Lost City meteorite fragment found this much smaller one a few months later on the roof of his house. The lighter color of the interior is clearly visible where it was cut into by the scientists who studied all of the found fragments back in the day, January 3, 1970. Since this specimen hit a man-made object, it is lovingly referred to as a “hammer stone.”
