Summary

Description	English: Approximate color image of Mercury from southern Sihtu Planitia at top to Renoir crater below center. Hopper crater contains the bright white patch above center. Approximate color representation combining three images acquired by MESSENGER Wide Angle Camera (EW0241291178I, EW0241291174F, EW0241291170G) with I (996.2 nm), G (748.7 nm), and F (433.2 nm) filters. Combined in GIMP software as RGB (Red-Green-Blue), and then rotated so that north is up. Statistics for I image: Emission Angle: 0.5 Incidence Angle: 30.4 Latitude: -16.2 Longitude: 305.0 Phase Angle: 30.7
