English: A Roman 40 librae (about 13 kg or 29 lb) stone weight c 200AD on display in the Eschborn Museum, Eschborn, Germany (10 km NW of Frankfurt-am-Main). The weight (with hook) is 41.7 cm high and the stone itself is 21.5 cm high and its diameter is also 21.5 cm. The Roman libra (or pound) was 327.45 g (11.6 oz). The "credit card" in the foreground illustrates its size.
Deutsch: Eine römische 40 librae (ca. 13 kg) Steingewicht c 200 n. Chr. Ausgestellt im Eschborn Museum, Eschborn. Das Gewicht (mit Haken) beträgt 41,7 cm und der Stein selbst ist 21,5 cm hoch und sein Durchmesser beträgt ebenfalls 21,5 cm. Die römische libra (oder das Pfund) betrug 327,45 g. Die "Kreditkarte" im Vordergrund zeigt ihre Größe.
Latina: A XL librae Romanae (de XIII kg) lapis pondus c 200AD Proponamus in Eschborn Museum, Eschborn Germania (km X de Frankfurt-Main-am). Quod pondus (cum hamo) sit 41.7 cm alta et lapis ipsa 21.5 cm altitudo, et eius dyameter sit 21.5 cm. Quod Romana Libra fuit 327,45 g. Quod "fidem card" in mole corporis fabrica illustrat ejus.
