DescriptionSouth Australian Railways high-speed bogie from RBP class cool car.jpg
English: South Australian Railways high-speed bogie (US: truck) from an RBP class cool car. These bogies were installed under freight cars that were attached to higher-speed SAR passenger trains on lines such as the Adelaide–Port Pirie line. With their equalizing beam, longer (2067 mm / 6 ft 9 in) wheelbase, leaf and coil springs, and roller bearings, they were much more stable than standard Bettendorf-style freight bogies.
