Description
English: So-called “Venus Felix”, type of the Cnidian Venus, with a head resembling Faustina the Younger. Incsription on the plinth: "Veneri Felici sacrum Sallustia Helpidus d. d." (dedicated by Sallustia and Helpidus to Venus Felix). Marble, Roman copy ca. 180–200 AD after a Greek original.
Français : « Vénus heureuse » : type de l'Aphrodite de Cnide de Praxitèle, tête-portrait ressemblant à Faustine la Jeune. Selon l'inscription sur la plinthe, statue dédiée par Sallustia et Helpidus à Venus Felix. Marbre, copie romaine de 180-200 ap. J.-C. d'après un original grec.
