Description The Vichten mosaic depicts Homer discussing with Calliope, the Muse of epic and elegiac poetry. They are surrounded by 8 other muses. The mosaic was produced n 240 AD in Trier and found in 1995 in Vichten. The original is now in the in the Luxembourg National Museum of History and Art (MNHA).
