The Firebird Hornet is a German single-place, paraglider that was designed and produced by Firebird Sky Sports AG of Füssen in the mid-2000s. It is now out of production.[1]

The Hornet was designed as an intermediate glider. The models are each named for their relative size.[1]

Hornet S
Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 11.88 m (39.0 ft) span wing has a wing area of 25.27 m2 (272.0 sq ft), 49 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.58:1. The pilot weight range is 55 to 75 kg (121 to 165 lb). The glider model is DHV 2GH certified.[1]
Hornet M
