Gonbad (Persian: گنبد)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Gonbad Rural District of the Central District of Hamadan County, Hamadan province, Iran.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 3,916 in 893 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,233 people in 922 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,991 people in 927 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
