Hanumangarh Constituency covers all voters from part of Hanumangarh tehsil, which includes ILRC Hanumangarh including Hanumangarh Municipal Board, ILRC Ronawali,ILRC Pucca Sarnan, IIRC Fatehgarh, ILRC Lakhuwali and ILRC Norangdesar.[1]

Sahu was born in Bhadra tahsil of Hanumangarh district, Rajasthan. He did Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru medical College, Ajmer in 1972.
