Jai Prakash Verma

Jai Prakash Verma was a member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from Gandey Assembly constituency.[1]

He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party were he rejoined the party in September 2024. </ref>/https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/ranchi/mla-amit-ex-mla-jaiprakash-and-ex-dsp-hembrom-join-bjp/articleshow/113358436.cms</ref> . he was member Jharkhand Mukti Morcha in 2023 which he later left. He was a suspended by the JMM during the 2024 general election when he contested as an independent against the alliance candidate from CPI(ML)L Vinod Kumar Singh in Koderma PC [2][3] Verma's father, Jagdish Prasad Kushwaha also elder brother of Ritilal prasad verma, who was an Ayurved practitioner was considered as one of the tallest leader of Bhartiya Jana Sangh. Latter had played significant role in establishing Jana Sangh in United Bihar.[4] Verma is a nephew of Rati Lal Prasad Verma, the six time Member of Indian Parliament from Kodarma PC and a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh veteran.[5][6]
