Janov (Rusyn: Янов) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1341.
Geography
[edit]The municipality lies at an altitude of 302 metres and covers an area of 4.72 km2 (1.82 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[1]
Population
[edit]It has a population of about 331 people (2020-12-31).[2]
