Kottarakkara Punalur Diocese is one of the 32 dioceses of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church . The diocese was created after dividing the then existed Thiruvananthapuram Diocese and Kollam Diocese on 15 August 2010.[ 1] [ 2]
