Kyle Evans Gay (born 1985/1986)[1] is an American politician. She is a Democratic member of the Delaware Senate representing the 5th district.[2] She is the lieutenant governor-elect of Delaware following the 2024 Delaware lieutenant gubernatorial election, defeating Republican nominee Ruth Briggs King in the general election.[3]
Biography
[edit]Gay was born in Wilmington, Delaware, and grew up in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, graduating from Unionville High School. She then obtained a Bachelor's degree in international relations and history from Brown University and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.[4]
Gay lives in the Heatherbrooke neighborhood with her husband Olin and their two daughters.[4][5] She serves on the board of the Delaware Bar Foundation.[6]
