La Saunière (French pronunciation: [la sonjɛʁ]; Occitan: La Saunièra) is a commune in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central France.
Geography
[edit]An area of farming and forestry comprising the village and a few small hamlets situated just 5 miles (8.0 km) southeast of Guéret at the junction of the D942 and the D17 roads.
