Lapui (Persian: لپوئي)[a] is a city in the Central District of shiraz County, Fars province, Iran,[4] serving as the administrative center for shiraz Rural District.[5]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 4,975 in 1,333 households. Shiraz County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 6,924 people in 2,000 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 8,985 people in 2,761 households.[2]

The city and the rural district were transferred to the new Central District.[4]
