Levan Township is one of sixteen townships in Jackson County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 850 and it contained 365 housing units.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.77 square miles (95.2 km2), of which 33.36 square miles (86.4 km2) (or 90.73%) is land and 3.41 square miles (8.8 km2) (or 9.27%) is water.[2]
