[edit]The current inventory of armoured vehicles, both serviceable and active, is likely to increase significantly due to the ongoing war in Ukraine after Russia's invasion. The German government is to outline its defence doctrine in the coming months, but is likely to include formations of additional combat brigades as well as support elements.[144][145][146]
