Michaela Morgan is a student and camogie player. She was her club's Under-21 Player of the Year[1] having previously been nominated for the Minor and Under-14 awards and winner of the league and championship double with her club in 2009. She won All-Ireland 'B' Under-16 and Under-18 titles, and has just won her second Senior championship medal with her club.[2] Winner of Munster schools titles in the Junior and Intermediate grades.[3] Attended Dungarvan College for her secondary schooling where she was twice selected by her peers as female sportsperson of the year[citation needed] Waterford V.E.C. sportsperson of the year. She is going to study to be a nurse.
