Michelle Roark is a cum laude graduate of chemical engineering, scientist of bioenergetics, certified perfumer, 2x Olympian, author and wellness entrepreneur.[1] She is the founder and CEO of Phia Lab, a bioenergetics lab based in Denver, Colorado, where she also runs and operates the award-winning Phia Alchemy Wellness Salon Spa.[1][2] Michelle Roark is a renowned figure in the world of freestyle skiing. Her multifaceted career is marked by a dedication to pushing boundaries and a commitment to holistic well-being.
Athletic Prowess
[edit]Roark's journey began on the slopes, where she carved a path as a distinguished freestyle skier. Initially driven by a childhood dream of Olympic figure skating, financial constraints led her to discover her passion for freestyle mogul skiing at the age of 16. Her talent quickly propelled her to the U.S. Ski Team, where she competed for 18 years, achieving remarkable success. Roark's accomplishments include a World Cup Championship title, 2 x Olympian ( 2006 Winter Olympics and 2010 Winter Olympics.[3]), a World Championship Silver Medal FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships 2003 in Deer Valley, Utah, half a dozen World Cup wins, a dozen other podium finishes and 2 x North American Championship titles in freestyle mogul skiing.
Scientific Pursuits and Entrepreneurial Spirit
[edit]While competing at the highest level of her sport, Roark pursued academic excellence, graduating cum laude with a degree in chemical engineering from Colorado School of Mines. Her studies focused on the bioenergetics of the botanical world. Her research revealed combinations of essences that increased the energy content and therapeutic potential ultimately creating a unique form of quantum nutrition.
Roark's scientific curiosity and entrepreneurial drive led her to establish Phia Lab in 2013. Through her award-winning Phia Alchemy Wellness Salon Spa, she developed an all-natural hair, skin and body care line of products as the delivery system for her unique quantum nutrition. Today, her quantum nutrition is helping people all over the world live healthier, happier lives.
Authorship and Advocacy
[edit]Roark is a published author, sharing her insights and experiences in her 2020 book, "BE A FORCE: Persevere Like An Olympian, Harness The Botanical World, Illuminating The Alchemist In You." A sought-after public speaker, Roark engages audiences with topics such as "Getting in the Zone and Staying There" and “Be A Force”.
Community Engagement

She actively participates in various civic-minded organizations, including serving as a founding board member of the Bio-Itzá Reserve Shield the Source Fund and a board member of the Smart Women Organization. She is also affiliated with the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and the Society of Women Engineers.
