Mohamed Salah Ibrahim Abo Gresha (Arabic: محمد صلاح أبو جريشه; born 11 January 1970) is an Egyptian former footballer who played as a striker. He is one of the most popular players that has played for the Egyptian club Ismaily. He won 4 titles with Ismaily. He was the Egyptian Premier League's top scorer of the 1995–96 season.[1]
Biography[edit]
Mohamed Salah Abo Gresha was born on 11 January 1970 in Ismailia, Egypt. He is the nephew of Ali Abo Gresha. He started playing with Ismaily in the youth team. He played most of his professional football career at Ismaily. He scored 86 goals in the Egyptian Premier League, 15 goals in Egypt Cup, 6 Goals in African Club Cups and 2 Goals in Arab Club Cups, with a total of 108 goals in all competition. He played for Al-Tadamon SC in the Kuwait Premier League and the Egyptian side Haras El Hodood. Abo Gresha also played for the Egypt national football team at the Summer Olympics in 1992[2] He represented his country at the Africa Cup of Nations in 1992, 1994 and 1996 editions.
