Nallakalam (transl. Favourable Time) is a 1954 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. Vembu and Jyotish Sinha. The film stars M. K. Radha and Pandari Bai. It was released on 21 May 1954.

K. Prabhakar was in charge of Cinematography while the editing was done by C. Rajan. Choreography was by Sohanlal. Nallakalam was filmed at Film Centre, Madras and the stills were taken by Gnanam.[1]

Release and reception

Nallakalam was released on 21 May 1954,[3] and distributed by Subbu & Co.[4] The Indian Express called it an "above-average picture", although the critic said Radha and Pandari Bai "give efficient delineations of their roles".[5]
