Pure Fusion Collective (P.F.C.) is a villainous women's professional wrestling stable performing in WWE on the Raw brand consisting of Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville.

Background

[edit]

On the September 4, 2023, episode of Raw, Shayna Baszler defeated Zoey Stark by technical submission after Stark passed out to Baszler's Kirifuda Clutch. After the match, Baszler gave praise to Stark's toughness.[1] In the following week, Stark ran out to save Baszler when Baszler was attacked by Chelsea Green and Piper Niven after Baszler's match with Green.[2] At Raw: Day 1 on January 1, 2024, Baszler and Stark teamed up for the first time to defeat Tegan Nox and Natalya to become the #1 contenders for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship but they failed to win the titles.[3] On the May 20 episode of Raw, Sonya Deville, who makes her first appearance since her ACL injury in August 2023,[4] made first contact with Baszler and Stark but was brushed off by the pair.[5]

History

[edit]

Formation (2024–present)

[edit]

On the July 8, 2024 episode of Raw, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark aligned themselves with Sonya Deville after weeks of declining the latter's offer, turning all three women into heels and calling themselves Pure Fusion Collective (P.F.C.) while putting the Raw women's roster on notice.[6] On the July 15 episode of Raw, Deville defeated Latino World Order's Zelina Vega in her first match since her return.[7] On the July 29 episode of Raw, P.F.C. teamed up for the first time to defeat Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.[8] On the August 13 episode of Raw, P.F.C. took out Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai backstage in order to write Kai off television due to her legitimate leg injury.[9] On the following week, Baszler and Stark faced Damage CTRL's Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane and WWE Women's Tag Team Champions The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) in a title match where the champions retained their titles.[10] On the November 11 episode of Raw, Kai returned from injury and Damage CTRL defeated P.F.C. in a six-woman tag team match.[11] In December, Baszler and Stark entered the tournament to crown the inaugural Women's Intercontinental Champion, with Baszler being knocked out in the first round[12] and Stark progressing to the semifinals.[13]
