Sangay Tenzin (born 7 September 2003) is a Bhutanese swimmer.[1] He competed in the 2020[2] and 2024 Summer Olympics.[3][4]
Early life and education

Olympic career
[edit]In the 2020 Summer Olympics, Tenzin participated in the men's 100 m freestyle. He qualified via a universality place. This was Tenzin's debut appearance at the Olympics as well as the first appearance of a Bhutanese swimmer.[6] On 27 July, he participated in the heats of the men's 100 metre freestyle in heat one. He finished the race in 57.57 seconds, in 68th place overall, and failed to advanced to the semifinals.[7]
At the 2024 Summer Olympics, Tenzin participated in the same event.[8] He qualified via universality place again.[8] This was Tenzin's second appearance at the Olympics.[9] On 30 July, he participated in the heats of the men's 100 metre freestyle in heat one. He finished the race in 56.08 seconds, third out of seven competitors in his heat and 74th overall, and failed to advanced to the semifinals.[10]
