Sreerama Chandra Mynampati (born 19 January 1986) is an Indian playback singer and actor, recognized for his work in Telugu cinema, Bollywood, and television, as well as for hosting music shows. He began his career in 2008 as a playback singer in Telugu with ETV shows Okkare and Sye Singers Challenge.^[2] In 2010, he gained prominence by winning the fifth season of the music reality show Indian Idol.^[2] He made his acting debut in 2013 with the Telugu film Jagadguru Adi Shankara. In 2021, he participated in Bigg Boss Telugu 5, finishing as the second runner-up. Sreerama also hosted the first season of Telugu Indian Idol, which premiered on 25 February 2022. Most recently, he appeared as Kranthi in the film Papam Pasivadu, which premiered on 29 September 2023, alongside Rashi Singh, Srividya Maharshi, Gayatri Changanti, and Ashok Kumar.

He has won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer – Telugu for the song "O Rendu Prema Meghaalila" from Baby in 2024.

Sreerama Chandra was born in Addanki, a town in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, into a Telugu speaking Brahmin family.^[3] His father is a High Court advocate while his mother is a housewife.^[4] In spite of a non-musical background, Sreerama Chandra had a passion towards singing and started singing in his school days from N.Ch.Parthasarathy and during college days.^{[citation needed]}

He did his schooling at St. Andrews School, Bowenpally, Secunderabad and graduated (BTech) from the Royal Institute of Technology and Science (RITS). He learnt music at Sri Bhakta Ramadasu Govt. College of Music And Dance, Secunderabad from Bhaskara Haripriya (One of the Hyderabad Sisters – The Singing Divine Duo).^{[5][failed verification]}

He has completed his fifth year of his Certificate course in Carnatic vocal at Sri Bhakta Ramadasa Music College, Marredpally, Secunderabad.^{[citation needed]} After participating in ETV's Sye, a singing reality show, Telugu film music director Mickey J Meyer spotted Sreeram's talent and had him sing "Chirugalithone Adiga" for a movie called Notebook.^{[4][dead link‍]}

He worked on an advertising campaign with Suzuki that featured Salman Khan.^{[6][non-primary source needed]} He released his debut Hindi album, Rehnuma, in 2010 and said it is a tribute to his loved ones.^[7] He has started recording his new music album called Crazy Love.^[8]

In 2021, Chandra entered the reality TV show Bigg Boss Telugu season 5 as a contestant. He has a huge following from family audience. He was the 1st finalist and 2nd runner-up of the show.^[9]

He went on to star in Papam Pasivadu (TV series) that aired on Aha (streaming service) in the lead role alongside Rashi Singh.^[10]
