State Line is an unincorporated community in Culberson County, Texas, United States.[1] According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 18 in 2000.
History
[edit]State Line's only population was recorded as 18 from 1970 through 2000. Although it was not listed on county maps in 1990, the community did have a local saloon.[2]
Geography
[edit]State Line is located at the intersection of U.S. Routes 62 and 180 on the New Mexico border, 18 mi (29 km) northeast of Pine Springs in north-central Culberson County.[2]
Education
[edit]Today, the community is served by the Culberson County-Allamoore Independent School District.
