State Line is an unincorporated community in Culberson County, Texas, United States.[1] According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 18 in 2000.

History

State Line's only population was recorded as 18 from 1970 through 2000. Although it was not listed on county maps in 1990, the community did have a local saloon.[2]

Geography

State Line is located at the intersection of U.S. Routes 62 and 180 on the New Mexico border, 18 mi (29 km) northeast of Pine Springs in north-central Culberson County.[2]

Education

Today, the community is served by the Culberson County-Allamoore Independent School District.
