The women's 100 metre breaststroke competition of the swimming events at the 1987 Pan American Games took place on 13 August at the Indiana University Natatorium.[1] The last Pan American Games champion was Anne Ottenbrite of Canada.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
This race consisted of two lengths of the pool, both lengths being in breaststroke.[8]
