Colour

[edit]

Hi Frietjes, I'd like to make this the same colour as the CS infobox. What is it that's hard to read? SlimVirgin (talk) 23:45, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should remove the colouring from the infobox as well. beyond the low contrast between the text and background, which I personally address using a custom vector.css file, there is the issue that deviation from the default colouring is simply not needed. in the wp:NAVBOXCOLOUR and wp:deviations guidelines, it is advised to use the default colouring provided by the site-wide MediaWiki:Common.css, since (1) these css classes can be customised using a personal css file, and (2) it provides a more uniform appearance when there are multiple navboxes at the bottom of an article, rather than some rainbow of colour. feel free to point me to where A2A2D0 is listed as the official colour for Christian Science. by the way, why is Christian Science not using a standard infobox? seems like {{Infobox Christian denomination}} would work there. It's a close colour to the colour Christian Science uses on its site, and I wrote the infobox for the parameters. I still don't understand what is hard to read about this template, and why you removed the even/odd format. SlimVirgin (talk) 01:04, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
the colour on the website banner is a gradient somewhere around cc82c2 and cf86c5. the logo in the infobox is more of a blue. since the colour appears to vary over time, I would say we just forget it, and use the default. Frietjes (talk) 01:22, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Placebo effect

[edit]

Can anyone explain what this has to do with Christian Science? I think it should be removed. Bblandford (talk) 11:17, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
In the absence of any dissent, I have removed it. Bblandford (talk) 09:42, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
