All these sites are in Israel, so I think the template is misnamed; instead of being called "Holy sites in Judaism", it should be called "Jewish holy sites in Israel". Yehoishophot Oliver (talk) 15:21, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- What holy sites are there outside Israel? Chesdovi (talk) 17:22, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- In Europe there are many, many kivrei Tzaddikim. There are also kivrei Tzaddikim in arab countries. Yehoishophot Oliver (talk) 17:51, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Although burials places are included here of the biblical heros, other graves do not carry the same level of veneration. There are only holy sites in the Land of Israel, and that fact does not need to be emphasised in the title of the template, which would otherwise imply there are indeed other holy sites outside Israel. - Even if at the moment this articles mentions only holy sites in Israel, it theoretically could be enlarged with other sites outside of it, so unless there is reason to make separate articles for in and outside Israel, I propose we keep it this way. Especially since if it is about Israel we should add Muslim and Christian holy sites as well, which I don't think is the intention, now is it? It is only natural that Judaism's holy sites are in Israel, but the defining element is Judaism here. I'd like to add that I don't think we should add all kinds of graves of important rabbi's to this template. The template is clearly about the main and most holy sites, and I don't think we should start enlarging it. Debresser (talk) 05:55, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- I second Debresser's sentiments. Chesdovi (talk) 07:48, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- Fine, then we need a template or at least an article about kivrei Tzaddikim of non-Biblical figures. Yehoishophot Oliver (talk) 19:06, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
